Random Name Picker Wheel To Get a Fair Winner
Do you want to select someone randomly from a group? Maybe from a class or a group chat. Our online Random Name Picker Wheel will help you select randomly from the provided list.
With traditional ways of selection, sometimes people think that you picked your favorite, even if the pick was really random. Everyone fully trusts it when they see it happening with their own eyes.
That's why we created this random name picker tool. Just provide the list of names, spin the wheel, and our tool will pick a random selection for you. Now no one can say that you are favoring anyone, as nobody can control where it stops, not even you.
You can use this online random name picker wheel through a web browser on your computer, tablet, or even a mobile device.
Why a Spinning Wheel is Better Than Guessing
If you use a spinning wheel to pick random names from the list, no one can doubt it. The wheel lands on a random selection on its own, and no one can control where it will stop. So, there is nothing to argue about.
It is also exciting to see the suspense. When we spin the wheel, the colours blur together, and then the wheel slows down and lands on a random selection.
How to Use the Random Name Picker Wheel (Step-by-Step)
Using this tool is super easy. Most people figure it out in a few seconds.
Step 1: Add Your Names to the List
Type or paste names into the list box. (Add one name per line).
Step 2: Spin the Wheel
Click the SPIN button in the center of the wheel. The wheel will spin and pick a random name from the list.
Step 3: See Your Winner
When the wheel stops, a winner’s name shows up in a popup. You can click “Awesome!” to close the popup, or click “Remove Winner From Wheel” to instantly remove them for the next round.
Features of this Random Name Picker Wheel
This tool is not like other simple name pickers. It has a spinning wheel with some extra features. Let’s discuss the features one by one.
A Real Spinning Wheel
Our tool has a real wheel with coloured sections for each name. It's fun to watch. It also feels more fair, as everyone can see it spin and stop on its own.
Sound Effects
The wheel makes a ticking sound while it spins. It plays a short, happy tune when it lands on a winner.
If you don't want the sound, mute it by clicking on the speaker button. You can also decrease or increase the volume from the speaker icon.
Remove Winner Options
This toggle is off by default so your list stays intact. If you want to remove winners so they don't get selected again, you can turn on the “Remove Winner After Spin” toggle, or simply click the “Remove Winner From Wheel” button directly inside the winner popup modal after any spin.
Shuffle and Clear All Buttons
If you want to randomize your list before spinning the wheel, you can use the “Shuffle” button. If you want to remove the list, click the “Clear All” button.
Results History Panel
Once the wheel picks a winner, the tool automatically adds the name to a Result panel. This panel shows the list of names the wheel has picked so far.
If you want to save the results list, just click the Copy button and paste it anywhere you want, like in an email or notepad.
